Could you help me write a conversation between two poems?
Write a conversation in which the two boys who appear in "Tableau" discuss what happens in "Incident" with the eight-year-old boy who was the victim of the incident.
Bring them to life!
Tableau: For Donald Duff
Countee Cullen
Locked arm in arm they cross the way,
The black boy and the white,
The golden splendor of the day,
The sable pride of night.
From lowered blinds the dark folk stare,
And here the fair folk talk,
Indignant that these two should dare
In unison to walk.
Oblivious to look and word
They pass, and see no wonder
That lightning brilliant as a sword
Should blaze the path of thunder.
Incident
Countee Cullen
Once, riding in old Baltimore,
Heart-filled, head-filled with glee,
I saw a Baltimorean
Keep looking straight at me.
Now I was eight and very small,
And he was no whit bigger,
And so I smiled, but he poked out
His tongue, and called me “Nigger.”
I saw the whole of Baltimore
From May until December;
Of all the things that happened there
That's all that I remember.

Sure, I'll start on it now. How many words do you need?
Will we split your final grade, will it be all mine, how will that work?

You are not to write poetry. You are to write a conversation between two boys.
Do you understand what the first poem says, what it means?

Didn't you type that? Yes, you did.
If you dropped your attitude and spent half the time you've spent on AMHD working on your assignment it would be done by now.

Locked arm in arm they cross the way,
The black boy and the white,
The golden splendor of the day,
The sable pride of night.
(Two boys, one black and one white, are friends and hang out together.)
From lowered blinds the dark folk stare,
And here the fair folk talk,
Indignant that these two should dare
In unison to walk.
(Adults, both black and white, see these two boys being friends and are very unhappy that they hang out together.)
Oblivious to look and word
They pass, and see no wonder
That lightning brilliant as a sword
Should blaze the path of thunder.
(The two boys don't care and ignore the adults' stares and comments that each should stay with his own kind.)

These aren't the convos yet, but just what the poems mean. Are you okay with the poems' meanings?
Next, you and I write the convos -- stick around.

LOL OK... I'll stick around. I am afraid if I do the convos here and my teacher marks it as plagiarism? I love to work with you from here but how can I tell the teacher that this was me when she checks it in the plagiarism checker?

Summary of the poems:
Tableau -- Two boys, one black and one white, are friends and hang out together. Adults, both black and white, see these two boys being friends and are very unhappy that they hang out together. The two boys don't care and ignore the adults' stares and comments that each should stay with his own kind.
Incident -- I was 8 years old and very happily visiting Baltimore and noticed a citizen of the city, a white boy about my age, staring at me. I smiled at him. Instead of smiling back at me, he stuck out his tongue and called me a racist name. I stayed in Baltimore for six months and did many fun and interesting things there, but all I remember about the city is that boy and his racism and disrespect.

And I don't think they're very good. Could people please read them and tell me if they are good? I appreciate any constructive criticism but if your one of those people who just like to insult other peoples work and be mean then don't even bother to read my poem or anser and tell me if it is good...
