Can I prepay rent 6 months to help me rent since I don't have good credit?
I am pregnant with twins and need to rent a home. I have a full time job (12yrs current) but I don't have a cedit history. I have started establishing revolving credit by use of a secured credi card I've had and been making my payments on, but I'm afraid this hasn't been long enough to score good on a credit report yet.

I can offer te landlord up to 6 months prepaid rent to help my situation, but not sure if this is common.

To be clear, if I rent in August I can prepay September, October, November and December rents.

Is this a stupid thing to suggest to a landlord?

Please help. I would be grateful for any helpful info.
