Trying to find


I was fostered from Stanley House in Doncaster around 1946. I am trying to find any information on my birth mother. I was born in Sheffield, sent down to Ascot Priory then back to Doncaster to Stanley House.

I was born 25th May 1937

I was fostered by Mr Mrs Conn who lived in Hyde Park.

I have tried genes Reunited without success. I have been to sheffield to get my birth certificate but not sure where to go now.

The only other point of contact would be the social services departments that these places fell under, BUT given the time I doubt the records still exist.
