    Electricity 480
    Problems with measurements.

The question is: confirm that electrical motor will be adapted to 400 vac 50Hz. The answer from USA is: the electric is 480 three phase electric and 60 amps. Manual also says 460 v, 3ph and 230v, 3ph (optional). Does any of these measurements match the measurements in question. Can I answer yes it will be adopted to 400 vac 50 Hz. Thanks

480 volt in a residence [ 3 Answers ]

I am restoring a 100 year old home and installing central hvac. My electrician can get my units at a tremendous bargain, however, they are 480 volt. Unit alone savings would be 15,000. I have not yet installed the new panels in the house. Is it feasible and possible to put in a 480 volt panel?
