    Correct filing by name when doctor
    What would be the correct way to label a file (by last name) when there are credentials -- example. Dr. John Smith

    The same as they are for anyone else... Dr isn't their last name... nor is it their first name..

    If you need to include the credentials in the file name would it be Smith, John, M.D.

    It would only come into play if you have more than one John Smith. I.E. sorted my last name... those with the same last name get sorted in that subsection by first name.. if you have multiple people with the same first and last name, then in that subcategory you should sort by credentials.
