    Concrete works.
We have a doorway that we need to seal off, we are looking for someone to do it.
We want to get it done with concrete blocks which we purchase.all we want is the labor charges. Thanks.

Am I right to presume it's an exterior doorway?

I'm curious as to why you would choose concrete blocks? If an exterior doorway, then best would be to do it in a way that matches the house.

As for labor charges, that will vary from contractor to contractor. Call 2-3 local masons or home improvement contractors and get quotes. They'll give you quotes for free... so just pick the one with the best price and reputation.
