    Sprained ankle swelling
    Do I have to go to the hospital if a sprained ankle turns into a swollen foot that really hurts?

    Well, you can continue to ignore it, and if something is wrong or even broken inside your foot, it will heal incorrectly and cause problems for the rest of your life. But then it's only a foot, and not at all necessary.

    Please go to the doctor who will probably order x-rays and figure out what to do from there.
