    My older modular home
My older modular home's furnace's pilot light goes out every time it is windy. Its impossible to relight it because of the strong draft that keeps blowing out the lighter. I did put on a chimney cap but it hasn't helped the problem. My area is very windy so this is a huge problem for me. What can I do to stop this strong draft from blowing out my furnace's pilot light?

Depending on the furnace you have, they do make a high wind top. Check with local heating company to see if they can get one for you.

Thank you for responding to my question. I'm told I have a wind topper so what else can I try?

Odor from well water in modular home [ 1 Answers ]

The home is 13 years old and has been kept immaculately clean by previous owner. After moving in 3 weeks ago I was so dismayed that the odor was so strong coming from the shower. Nothing has helped so far. I spray Febreze but that's pretty expensive. Any suggestions appreciated. Anne
