    Judge statement
    A judge in family court called me a fool for not having a lawyer representing me in his
    Courtroom what is my recourse against this judge.

    Grow up. He or she didn't hurt anything but your feelings. There is no recourse for that.

    And the judge was probably right, assuming you had the ability to hire an attorney.

    Actually it is a long standing proverb that “He who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client”. So the judge may simply have been quoting that.

    In any case, you have no recourse.
