    How do I buy out their half of our house?
    How do you buy out their half of our house We are not married. We bought a house together. Now I want to buy out his half of the house. What do I have to do to get started?

    Hello MP:

    You're going to have to make him an offer. You can do it on a standard purchase and sales agreement... If there's a mortgage, you'll have to get a new one.

    I'd hire an attorney.
