Do you have firewall on your PC stopping your access? Try lowering your internet security settings.

In order to access the web site 192.168.0.1 on your D-LINK you must connect your PC directly to the LAN side of the DLINK. That's the only way to get access to the configuration menu.
Can you provide us with a bit more background about your setup? Hopefully we can help with a bit more information.

Are you trying to get into your router??
Try 192.168.1.1
Or 192.168.1.0

One more thing to ask about this router problem.
Bring up the command prompt and enter ipconfig to see the computer's and router's ip address' They may be set something different.

Or try tracert 4.2.2.1 at the Cmd prompt. Should be the first number.

Hello, I am a new member of this site only to answer/ask and I will proble not use this site again. I am not answering your question I am sorry but I don't know how to ASK a question so I'm going to ask you in the answer. Today I got upset because I am unable to host games on warcraft3thefrozenthrone. I tried numbers of times firewalls, static IP's the list goes on and on I've even gone to a computer store for help and it still isn't working.
So when I went to the computer store I was told to go to PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall I did. I went to games-warcraftIII-D-link di604 THEN I did all the steps
I changed most of my network connections and then the last step... was to put my static IP into the address bar at the top of my Internet Explorer. I did. Then a page came up saying this site does not exist blah blah... I've tried everything I've read over 2000 forums on www.fragforums.com this site and many more. Everything people have suggested to me has not worked if you can help id be grateful any tips would be nice even if they don't work I am grateful for you trying to help me out!
Thanks
Jeff

I bot a dlink dir 300 router and I had the same prob. I couldn't go to 192.168.0.1.
I tried many ip add but didn't work. Then I simply installed netscape navigator internet browser and typed 192.168.0.1 and it enter the router at once. Do not use microsoft's internet explorer for all this as it does not work!! Use only netscape. Please tell others who are having same prob in other site forums. Thank u.

First Right Click Internet Explorer Icon On Desktop, Select 'properties', Then Click 'security' Tab, Then Choose Default Settings For 'internet' 'local Intranet' 'trusted Sites' & Restricted Sites' . And Then Click Apply And Then Try To Enter Your Ip Address 192.168.0.1 In Internet Expl.
You Can Also Try Netscape Navigator Browser To Enter The Router.
I Think You Are Supposed To Connect The Wire Directly To The Router's Lan Port And To Your Pc's Port.

I thought D-link was 0.1, and Linksys and some others, 1.1?
This is over a year old post, I hope they got it working by now.
This may help:

I tried both. 192.168.1.1
It asks me for a username and password... I reset the router at least 5 times! What should I enter?

I think it's 192.168.2.1, not .0.1

Artem, he's getting to the router, he just needs to use the default user name and password. I have a link for that site above. Looking it up shows user "admin" and no password.

Ah OK. Well then it should be in the documentation, unless someone in your family thought it would be quite a joke to change it.
You should try to reset the router, or use the installation CD to go back to standard settings.
Btw. On my router I simply have to leave the fields blank, maybe that works?
