    Harley troubleshooting?
I have a 1990 Softail w/10,000 miles. Runs great tntil I reach about 60-65 mph. Then it acts like it's out of fuel, and spits & aputters. I have to pull over and let it rest for a minute or so, then it's fine again till I reach highway speed again. (p.s. Straight pipes, do baffles matter?) Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank's in advance.

    Good morning,

I had this same problem on my 92 FatBoy, and it was the screen on the petcock inside the tank was covered in debris from the inside of the tank. I removed it and cleaned out the tank then reinstalled and it ran great.

Hi! My bike sat in climate controlled storage for 8 months. 800 miles on it. The battery was dead and wouldn't take a charge from my trickle charger.
