    Removing Philippine immigration blacklist?
I was placed on the Philippine immigration blacklist for overstaying about 5 years ago and was wondering if anyone knows a reputable attorney in the Philippines to help me have it removed. This is what happened back in 2006 I was in the Philippines and ran into money trouble so while there I contacted the US Embassy in Manila to see what could be done and the Embassy assisted me in getting a repatriation loan so that I could return back to the US included in this I had to contact the then Immigration Commissioner Fernandez to get a waiver of fees on my visa which I had to agree to be placed on the blacklist until I repaid the amount that I owed which was about 9200pesos after returning to the US I contacted the bureau of immigration to get the info for re paying the fees and was informed that I needed to petition the commissioner, to get a reputable attorney to file the petition and pay a few additional fees along with the original amount owed My question is does anyone know a reputable attorney or has been through this process or any other information so I can return there to my family?

I've had to deal with similar situation. Had to pay pesos 86000 before I could reenter into ph and be with my girlfriend and y 2 kids again. I/we started the process to have me removed from this friggin blacklist approx 6 weeks ago and yesterday my girlfriend received the documents from immg confirming I've been removed and are welcomed back into ph with open arms.. so they can start the moneyrace and me over again and probably kick me out again when I'm confused and flat broke those motherers.
Anyway, this is how we did it. Be prepared that this will cost you quite more than the amount you actually 'owe' these immg mofos. It cost me p50000 additionally to the 86000 I actually 'owed' them. The prosess can only be done by someone who is actually present in ph so I hope you can trust your wife or girlfriend or whomever you choose to send your money to. Person of your choice has to seek the high commissioner for pardon on your behalf. You don't need any pricy layer. You find several mofos outside immgbld in intramunos(or whatever its called) whom are happy to assist you for a fee of course to make a formal letter where you make your case why the high commissioner should remove you from the blacklist. Im my case this letter was a handwritten half page thing where my girlfriend explained we have 2 kids togheter and I the kids need their dad. Then you deliver this 'application' to the high commissioner office co signed by your legal representative and get it stamped HCO. Then the wheels starts turning. Your girlfriend must go back and forth to immg every few day the next coming weeks for new instructions and delays. They will check how much money they can squeeze out of you in anyway.Remember, all you are to this people is a dumb rich foreigner in a desperate situation.. or in orher words its payday and xmas time! You will be required a NBI clearance submitted with your application and this cost me another p20000 for some reason. Then its just to wait for the result. As I mentioned in my case approx 6weeks.

    Good luck

    Hello

My embassy in manila contacted immg. Telling them I had financial problems and I had to go home to Europe to resolve my problem. So the day of my departure personnel from my embassy escorted me to the airport where we got a document from immg office located at the airport saying basically I could reenter ph after settling the amount I owed for overstaying my visa.
My embassy did this for me because I have children in ph and I refused to leave ph before they could guarantee I would be able to reenter ph again and be with my kids.

Is your friend in ph now or is in his home country and wish to return to ph? If in ph now he can pay what he owe for overstaying his visa at a immg office.. if he has money to do so.
