    Can I run a 2 lamp fixture with a 4 lamp ballast?
I recently bought some Lithonia fixtres from HD with GESB electronic ballasts. They don't
Physically hum but do cause a lot of interference with FM reception. Since I do a lot
Of FM tuner alignments, these were unacceptable. I phoned Lithonia (actually Accupro - the
1-800 number is right on the ballast), told them the problem and they offered to send me some new ballasts that would solve the problem. The new ballasts arrived today but they
Are for 4 lamp fixtures and mine are 2 lamp fixtures. There is a note on the ballast to
"cap 1 blue wire for 3 lamp use"... But what about 2 lamp use? I don't really want to send
Them back if they will work. Thanks

You can try it, may work, but violating the UL listing, and it may overdrive the working lamps.
