    Reverse Mortgage Harassment
I took out a Reverse Mortgage in 2009, I have lived up to all commitments since. However I have received a form from LPS every 40 days wherein I must state I still live in my residence, this started in October 2011; also they have been taking photos of my house and when I asked the people why I was told they do this once a year because Wells Fargo hired them. I don't care if they take pictures as I take pride in my home what concerns me is I can't take a trip(at least I don't feel free to} I feel like a prisoner in my home as I was told if I don't respond they will assume the house is empty and they can foreclose.. is this legal or do I have any rights? I certainly was not told this when I was taking the loan out

This is not considered harassment and is legal but reread all of your documents. Did you agree in the docs to periodic proof that you still resident in the home, I am thinking you did as is common.

When you took out this loan, did you have your attorney review them? But what did you agree to? If this is in writing and required, they can do it.

But? Why can't you go, have mail forward to you, have someone check for you, What this issue is, as soon as you have to move out or die ( sorry) they don't want the house to set empty for long,
