    College Student Need Help With Taxes
    I am a college student with no job,but I am a full time student. Can I file my taxes... if so please write back asap.

    Do you have ANY income? If not, then you have NO legal requirement to file.

    Even if you have income, it may be more advantageous for your parents to claim your personal exemption AND to claim the tuition credit.

    Discuss this with your parents before doing anything.

    I am a Independent student... I also have students loans to pay back so would that be income or something?

    Loans received are NOT taxable income.

    If you had no job nor income from passive investments (stocks, bonds, rental propertuy, mutual funds, IRA distributions, etc.), then you have NO legal requirement to file.
