Is the website: [url=http://www.businessnameusa.com] a valid website to get my business license from... I was advised to go to the city hall in my town but this might be easier if it's not a scam?? HELP ANYONE??

This is not a business license, your city office is the only and I mean the only place to get a real City business license.

What this is offering is your tax ID number which is free if you just call the IRS. This will be most likely a EIN number from the IRS, and they offer to file out the DBA forms, that is doing business as, if you want to use a business name, or form your coporation. ( none of which you really need in most start ups.

Also they want to charge you for things that are free.


This web site will fill out all the forms, pay what ever fees the government wants and then charge you a large amount of money to do it for you.

If you are too lazy to drive down to city hall, you don't need to be in business selling anything

If something looks too easy to be believed, it most likely is a scam. Take the time and do it right. You will be money ahead if you do. Good luck.
