So I dated this guy, and we always liked each other from the day we met, and when we dated it was OK. Eventually I could never see him cause I had so much soccer and stuff. I broke up with him. After a few months, I started really liking him, but apparently I broke his heart even though I told him I wanted to be in a relationship later, but not now. He didn't believe it. And now I'm madly in love again, and can't stop thinking about him. People tell me he doesn't like me, but every time we see each other we flirt a lot, but everyone keeps saying he doesn't like me.
Boys are so confusing? Please help.

You sound very young. Sometimes when you don't have many miles in the saddle, so to speak, with different relationships, it's easy to start to miss the one you had. You hurt him, apparently, because he is also young and didn't get that it's possible to have more things going on in your life than just your girlfriend or boyfriend. You made a good decision in not giving up all of your time for him, but maybe you could have done it more kindly. I don't know. "Liking" and "not liking" will come and go while you figure out who you are and how to handle other people. Don't worry so much about what other people tell you. If you and he are flirting, then you may still have some friendship between you. Keep doing what you're doing. Don't throw yourself at him, and don't let your friends get involved in the decisions you're making. Just play it by ear.
