I just had a dream that I was walking on the main road near my home, we live in town, but we are the first house in town so our house has the 'Welcome to so and so' sign in the front yard and we live on the main road by the way so lots of people come here. I was for some reason far from my house on some pavement no sidewalk in my dads truck pulled to the side of the road because it's kind of like farm town here, and all of a sudden this man with an evil smile on his face came pulled up to the car in his truck, I locked the doors, and he opened it with a key, I ran out, and he caught me, so I stopped and looked at him and actually thought about giving it up to him just to let me go, but instead I started sprinting towards my house. I managed to get inside lock the doors, and meanwhile this crazy guy chases me the whole time, and has the key for some darn reason to every single lock in this dream, ANYTHING he can open. I was inside my house and my parents asked what was wrong and I told them but they just laughed and over looked me and kept watching TV like they always do. I kept asking my dad for help but he wouldn't help me.. I needed help, this guy ended up killing another girl and drowning her body in a lake afterward and although I was inside, I was somehow seeing everything.. I was afraid, afraid that after he killed her, he would kill me, and break into my house that seemed to be the main thing, I didn't feel safe.


What does all of this mean? Why did I dream of this?
I woke up terrified heaving and crying.
