    Advice for lifting weights
Is it fine if I lift 6 days out of 7? Or should I be lifting weights less?

Depends on your fitness level and your goals. If you are a professional in the fitness industry (model, bodybuilder, instructor) then you can lift six days out of seven. For beginners or intermediates, I reckon three days out of seven is enough.

Make sure that when you do lift, you do so intensely. Go for the big compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, bench press, pull-ups, dips, stiffleg deadlifts etc, and work to within a rep of failure. Lift heavy. Three sets of eight lifts at 80% of your maximum lift is a good working level, which will get results and doesn't require endless hours in the gym. You'll be glad of a day off afterwards.
