Re-qualifying myself with the educational system in USA/Canada
    Hello
I have finished my studies in the Faculty of Science (Mathematics section) and I am supposed to be a Math. Teacher but I need to move to the USA OR Canada and there, they won't admitt the quality of educaton I have in order to let me work so could u please tell me how can I make use of what I have already studied in my university before in making me qualified officially in the USA/Canada (by having their own equivalent certificate in Mathematics) without the need to re-study all over again (so as to save enormous money, time and effort if I have 2 study from scratch) And how much this going to cost me?

PS I studied different subjects through my whole 4 university years such as:

    1. Differential and Integral calculus
    2. Linear Algebra
    3. Differential Geometry
    4. Differential Equations
    5. Mechanics
And lots of others that belong to either Pure OR Applied Math.

My English is pretty well and I am trying hard 2 take the IELTS exam soon

    THANKS

I don't know how Canada works. In the USA, teacher licensing for secondary schools is handled by the individual states. Most states require education courses in addition to the subject matter. At the university level, it requires at least the equivalent of a Masters degree. Some of the loosest requirements are at the community college level. Pick some likely looking states, ones you might like to live in. Replace the XX with their 2 letter abbreviation in http://www.XX.gov/ and look for teacher licensing. You may find that the further you go from the coasts, the less rigid the bureaucracy. And please, work some more on your English.

    Teaching in usa
You can try this web site to list your qualifications, and find a job opening.

    Information on becoming a teacher.

You will probably have to have you degree evaluated by a service to determine if it is the same as a 4 year degree in the USA.
Most colleges know or can recommend legal services to evaluate foreign degrees.

ALL states require 4 year degree, some require you pass praxis tests first.
    http://www.ets.org/praxis/

In Nevada,USA you can teach for 3 years (cost 110 american dollars to apply), while you are taking any other classes or praxis tests needed to get longer certification (must have approved 4 year degree - see above).
