    Welcome to this forum and good morning.

    Yes a line to ground fault is a severe electrical problem.

    But beyond that, without more information regarding the failure I cannot help you.

    Please let us know, what is connected to this circuit. What the amperage of the circuit is. Did this circuit ever work properly or is it a new installation?
