    Starting a small PAT Testing business
    I am 18 years of age and am really considering creating a small business of PAT testing on the side to my electrical apprentiship. I need to know who I should talk to about registering myself as a business. Should I ask around different companys to see if they would be interested in my services. I believe I need around £2,500 to start my company up would I need to pay any fees for starting my own business up.

    Hi Chris! I noticed that no one has answered your question yet. I am in the U.S. so the laws and processes are different of course. But, I did a search and found a UK web site that may help you. In the upper right hand corner of the site you will find a start up organiser link.
