    electronic schematics for john deere 318 lawn tractor?
    does anyone know if the M00318x596867 John Deere lawn tractor 318 series has points or an electronic ignition?

    Could not find a schematic, your local JD Dealer might print one out for you.

    But, did find out it is electronic.

    Look at the tag on the engine if it's a b it has points if it's a P not,Luck
