    I had a high blood glucose spike after breakfast
    My fasting reading is 106. One hour after breakfast, (one cup shreeded wheat, two tbsps honey, one cup skim milk), reading was 254.

    I thought these items would not cause spike. What went wrong?

    You used far too much honey. No sugar at all is best.
