Ask for your money back and get another attorney. This one is either dead drunk or crazy.

Now you are changing your story. You originally wrote "I already hire a lawyer". I reasonably read this to mean that you had hired the lawyer to represent you in the foreclosure action. If his retainer agreement says that he will only represent you in negotiating a loan modification, and specifies that he will not represent you in court, perhaps he is not obligated to write the answer for you.

But it still seems like a penny-ante way of practicing law. See if he will at least write the document for your signature. :(

I don't understand either. If you hire an an attorney they should be helping you prepare the paperwork.

I'm sorry to say that at one point, I had gone through this as well and my lawyer did all the paper work for me. If you hired them and they're not doing their job, dump them.
