    Can anyone help me identify this bug found on a carpet?
    I found a bug on the carpet in a rental unit... Can you help identify it? Thanks

    That is my thinking too. Place we stayed at denying bed bugs in room. Daughter covered in 50 bites.

    I'd bet on it then. If you have access to the place you stayed check areas like mattress seams, under sofa cushions, etc... You should be able to find several. Hard to deny when you can provide living evidence.
