Why the thermostat unable to start the furance
We have zoned baseboard heat in the house. The thermostat on the bedroom level can not start the furance. In order to get heat for that floor, I first set the temperature at a higher level, then turn on the thermostat in the basement to start the furance. It works like the thermostat in the basement is controlling the whole house. The thermostat is a round dial-face type. Is it something we can fix on ourown? Thank you for your advise in advance.
