Wiring a remote control ceiling fan
On the hampton bay remote control fan and light module, I do not have wiring diagram. From my ceiling box, I have a red, a black, a white, and a bare copper wire. I think it is because the light switch has a 3 way switch, but I do not know what to connect the RED wire to on the remote control module. The module only has a black and a white wire for incoming wires. The wires going to the light from the module match up--> blue to blue, white to white, and black to black. Can you help?

You may want to hook up to a constant hot, so remote will work without having to make sure the fan is on, Or rewire at switches to insure constant power, You could have it on the 3 way, just need to make sure it is on for remote to work.
Being a 3 way, the lights 3 way can bypass the receiver and down to light so the light can still be controlled from 2 locations, This is if you have only 1 rekote?
