I have been friends with this guy for about 6 months and I know he used to like me a couple of months back. However, I didn't act on it at the time because I wasn't sure if I actually liked him in that way. Now I have realised that I really like him, but not sure if he feels the same way.

Whenever I'm mucking around with other guys, he gives me this look that may mean he is jealous? He always talks to me and remembers conversations from ages ago, he calls me these cute nicknames, tells me some pretty personal things, teases me, gives me support if I'm worried about something, he says my name a lot in general conversations like "hi Lauren, goodnight Lauren, sorry Lauren, it will be okay Lauren" and he occasionally touches my back or hand.

He was being a bit friendly with this other girl, and I'm not sure if he was doing it to make me jealous. Cause when I looked over at them, he was already looking at me. I guess to see what my reaction was?

Is it too late? Does he still like me? What should I do to let him know how I really feel?

I thought I was letting him know subtly but obviously he didn't realise..

How old are you both as the younger you are the more likely feelings can go back and forth.

Now maybe you could throw away the subtle, and be a bit more straight forward..

More information would be helpful here and I agree your ages would be helpful. It is hard without that information to know how to interpret this. He could want to be your friend or your boyfriend but more info. Is needed please.

Well in my opinion he's showing all the signs that he likes you, but I don't think being subtle is the right answer here.

He let you know exactly how he felt before, and you turned him down, which most definitely will have knocked his confidence. No matter how much you hint, boys don't like nursing a bruised ego, and he is unlikely to put himself out there again for fear of embarrassment and being hurt again.

You're best bet is to be ABSOLUTELY honest. Tell him exactly how you feel.
The worst thing he can do is say no, right? And in that case you move on.
However, if you're instincts are right and he does like you, then this could be the start of a brilliant relationship, as you're already friends.
