I'd like to see what you think the answers are.
Let's begin with this one.
1. Why should we hire you?
Why should they hire you? Do you have experience? Do you have the education to work in that job? Do you have previous employers willing to give you a good reference that will show that you're ideal for this job?
2. What are your weaknesses?
What are you weak in? Maybe it's lack of education, lack of experience, tardiness. The trick to an interview is to make the weaknesses sound like a strength. For instance. You could say that one of your weaknesses is working too hard, being a perfectionist, etc. etc.
3. What are your strengths?
Well, hopefully you'll work on spelling and grammar, because judging by your post, that's not one of your strengths.
The answer to this question will depend largely on what the job is. If it's a dog walking company, then a good strength would be endurance, loving the outdoors, working well with animals. If the job is a secretarial job then being strong in typing, good communication skills, people skills, and writing skills are good strengths. The usual ones everybody mentions are punctual, quick learner, motivated, willing to work hard, education, and experience.
4. Why do you want this job?
Do you know why you'd want a job? If a particular job came up and you got an interview, could you convey your interest in a way that would make the interviewer remember you?
Money is never a good reason to want a job. Yes, that's the main reason we work, but most employers want to hear that you're there for more then money. So, it depends on the job, and your reasons for wanting it.
Some good reasons are work experience, interest in the field, learning a new trade, etc. etc. But, this one is more about you, and a specific job.
Think about all we've written and give us your answers. This is your assignment, pretend that this is a real interview, and you really want the job. What would your answers be?
