    Pain in pelvic area
For a few weeks off and on I've been having dull pain in my left side in the pelvis area. Every time I moved I would experience pain. I just had a baby four months ago, and I had to get on birth control, so I'm using the patch (ortho evra). Every week I put on a new patch and since I've moved the patch to the right side, I have not had any pains. Do you have any suggestions.

    Thanks ?

Been on the Patch for about a year and a half
By far, this is the best form of BC I have ever used. I did have pains in my pelvic from time to time, but I couldn't tell you if they were related to the patch. I've just made a switch to seasonale sowe'll see how that works ;)

    So many possibilities...
    Hi mia,

Pelvic pain can happen for so many different reasons. Especially if the pain/tenderness is on one side only.

Honestly, I'm going to recommend seeing an OBGYN asap. I'm not saying this is anything really serious, but it does appear to need attention. Of course it could be related to the birth control, but what if it isn't? I would want to know, as I'm sure you would to.

It could be a simple infection somewhere, or it could be something to do with your delivery. It's worth getting checked out anyway.

Blessings to you. I hope that you get it figured out soon, and I am glad that moving the patch to the right side has helped.
