    Recirculating pump
I have an Armstrong Astro 25BS 1/2 recirculating pump hooked up to the plumbing in my new house. I am not getting hot water at the tap until I run the water for awhile so the pump is obviously not working. Is there any way to troubleshoot it or do I just need to replace it and have a plumber install it?

How old is the pump? Was it working it beofre and not working now?

To check the pump put your hand on the pump feel it is it warm and feel I if it is running, if not warm (Hot) not feeling any thing then the pump is failed not work, you would need to replace it, good luck.
