    Selling old purses and jewelry
My grand-grand-mother has just died and I found a lot of wonderful purses and jewelry, some of them older than 50 years old. Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of bags they are and their precise age. However, they are in a very good condition and I wish I could sell them online. I've surfed the Internet, but I still don't know where I can sell them and how to prove their authenticity. Any suggestion would be of great help. Thank you.

Consignment shops are a good idea; EBay is another one. The good jewellery you will have to have appraised if there are gemstones involved for authenication purposes. This is the only way you will know what to charge, plus any interested party would want to see the appraisal.

As for the purses. Sorry, they usually go to the junk shop unless you want to try consignment.
