    How do I reattach the lower deck extension spring on an 38" MTD riding mower?

    Its part # 50 .I always hook one end on , then I use a piece of pull rope about 3 feet long run it through the other end of the spring double it over and pull , and hook it in place . Sometimes it handy to have another person to put the spring in place while one pulls.
    This is a trick I use every day.
