    How can I put my last name and page number on the top right corner of each page?
    This is for an essay, MLA format. I can't just type it, I need to insert it. How can I do this, help please.

    If you are using Microsoft Word then use a Header.

    It would help if you told us what software you are using. Different software use different methods.


    Yes you would use a header. Page numbering is easy with Word (and most programs). With Word you can use the Insert menu to insert your name provided you filled out the name when you installed Word.
