    Controlled substance
    An applicant for pharmacy technician registration comes before the Board in response to discovery of a prior arrest, but no conviction, for possession of a controlled substance. What could happen to this person?

    He/she can be denied a license/registration.

    Are you saying there was an arrest and the charges were dropped?

    Unless the arrest if pending trial, no they would not have even found out, since on official background checks only convictions show up

    Also what state, since rules and boards in various states may have their own rules
