    Syndicated Scifi show about "RECS"
    Does anyone remember a syndicated scifi TV show in the 90s or early 00s about people who had been given a fountain of youth shot that caused people with a certain recessive gene to regress into neanderthals ? Because of this reaction, the people had to have these devices that would glow different colors according to their genetic makeup, and only those with the same colors could be together, so that the recessive gene would not be passed on to offspring. The military or police units would go out & look for survivors to save from the "recs" (recessives).

    I know it sounds crazy, but it's killing me not to be able to remember the name of this show.

    I found it! I just posted a question today looking for this show also. I found your question and your clue "recessives" helped me find it, so thanks. Apparently this was a failed 1994 TV series called Island City.
