    Advise on trading in
    I'm asking if I trade my truck in and my dad is a co signer on the truck do I need him there for when I trade the truck in on another vehicle

    No, he cosigned your loan, he isn't co-owner of the vehicle. However, if his name is on the title, he will have to sign it over.
