    10 days late for my period
    I have been on this brand of birth control for about 6 months now and I have missed my period this past month. I had been sick with a head cold and took promethazine and Zirtec D for it. Could this have affected my cycle?

    Of course as we all know, there is no 100 percent effective birth control, so even on the pill, you can become pregnant.

    But yes, the illness could cause it. Time will tell right now

I had no actual menstrual flow as i had no use for pad/tampon. I did wear a pantyliner and nothing on it. It started with 2 days of spotting brownish/pinkish and light bleeding after for next couple of days but i only seen when i wiped the whole time. I took a pregnancy test and negative result....
