I like the idea (and have a business idea) that would be something similar to the application on this website, I know how to create websites etc and my research has led me to Joomla. A very good site but doesn't allow for this function of users paying £1 to upload their image into a virtual book. I would need the book to be around 20 pages but limitless (people can keep scrolling down). Thanks

Check out just how many similar FREE pages there are like this now, so why would anyone want to pay YOU for the same thing??

I really don't understand why you responded. You did not answer my question or even read the question properly.

Firstly, I stayed I liked the website and that it had inspired me with an idea, therefor I needed a similar application - not to copy the website.

Secondly, it is my belief that I could make money from my idea and I believe it to be unique so should I stop because you don't understand why people would give me money for something that you have no idea what I want to create.

Finally, I don't believe your stupid comment about original being good and copies being boring, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Facebook about the 10th version of a social network site behind msn, myspace, profileheaven etc yet the owner thought he could make one better and look how popular that is and how much it is worth.

Well that told me didn't it.

My point about originality is still valid though.
In your own example, Facebook may NOT of been the first social network, but it is the one that has succeed due to it's original approach.
My point being, why should, or do you think they should, pay YOU simply to upload a profile.
Needs more indepth thought and that killer app, rather than repackaging what has gone before.

Hey, if you think you can make money from this then go for it, just be prepared to not be the roaring success you think it will be.
