I met the most amazing guy in college but it was the complete wrong time in my life for him to come along. I couldn't handle how serious our relationship was getting and basically just blew him off at the time. We saw each other on and off for the remaining years of college but were never really able to be just friends and never seriously worked on getting back together.

He recently contacted me after all these years mentioning that he had been thinking about me and had tried calling several times but I have obviously changed me number. He brought up a romantic weekend we spent in a hotel and getting together for dinner when he visits my state in a month. He also asked if I have summers off with my job and suggested that I come visit there over the summer. There was just a lot of talk about the future which was weird for me considering it has been so long since we have both talked. We are both still single and he made a point to mention that I am the only ex that he even talks to. Is this just an effort on his part to catch up or is there still something there?
