Did you change the fuel filter on the frame? Also, tighten all connections with metric flare wrenches.

Yes, I changed with new filters. Tighten all connections with metric flare wrenches? Which connections?

Yes, they're like A/C slip on connectors though.

Was the pump a new Motorcraft? If so, it should all be very straight-forward and you should have plenty of pressure.

That was a great list, saving for future reference. I am overdue on oil change. Just curious, that would keep bowl from filling?

Time for confession: Pump and filter were purchased at Parts Store.

Not really. It does affect injector fuel pressure, however.
What brand of fuel pump did you install?

I suspect, then, that there's a problem with the pump. Is the pump priming? If it is, then I'd take it back and go Motorcraft. Other than that, I don't have any great ideas. Something fundamental appears not to be working with the pump.

O'Rielly fuel pump. Fuel does drain from 6mm screw, I might try putting old pump and filter back on.

After I changed out pump/filters, it ran fine about 5 minutes, then quit. Now bowl is empty, and won't refill.

Pumps use the fuel to cool. Do you think it overheated?
My gut is it's a bad pump. I'd try and exchange it for a Motorcraft.
