A 1700 cal diet will make you lose further weight, although it is not advised and you really should seek professional assistance with this.

The real question is WHY do you want to lose more ?

    Really you aren't.
Have you considered joining a gym and getting some training to make yourself feel better about your body image ?

Curlyben's right--why don't you try a gym, or even do something like join a martial arts or gymnastics class?

You said yourself "I know I am underweight but oh well," but then turned around and said that you feel huge. I can assure you--being 5'3" myself, there is pretty much no way that 89 lbs can make you look huge unless you are in bad physical condition or there's something wrong that's making you bloat up without excess weight gain.

Image is so important in society, but too many people sacrifice their health in order to meet an ideal they think is "perfect." If you avoid eating and don't get as much as your body needs, you'll find yourself feeling weaker and more tired on a daily basis. You won't resist getting sick as well. And really, you'll do yourself more harm than good in the long run. And eventually, your body could believe it is starving and start eating away at your muscles just to get something.

Try to stick to a healthy diet and again, like ben said, try to work on feeling better about yourself. Just because they make size 0 jeans doesn't mean you should feel bad if it's not the right size for you.

Natalie, I see your posts about this specific topic are going all the way back to the beginning of April. Now, nearly six months later, your fears and concerns are the same and it doesn't seem like you've made much progress in feeling any different.

Despite many people telling you that you definitely do NOT look overweight in any way (and even some mentioning that you may look emaciated or unhealthy), you keep wanting to express that you are "huge" and (I assume) be reassured that you are not. If you can look at those pictures you posted and honestly, truly feel that you are "huge," you certainly need to continue your meetings with the nurse and psychiatrist you mentioned before.

Again, as I and other people have mentioned, if you do not eat, your body will essentially eat itself. Eventually, if you keep that up, you're not going to have to worry anymore about how you look because there won't be enough to sustain your LIFE.

I really wish you all the best, but the ball is in your court right now. I don't want to be on here in five more months seeing you in the same place, still thin as a rail and feeling like an elephant. I don't want you to hurt yourself. But, it has to be your choice to want to accept yourself how you are, or change for the better--exercise, good eating habits, etc. If you can't learn to accept yourself and your image, the consequences will probably be pretty bad with you ending up in terrible health or worse. Good luck. I understand this is a difficult mental battle for you because I'm sure you have the sense to know what you SHOULD be doing, but there's another part that's arguing against it. Be rational and if you're going to take so much time to ask people HERE what they think... maybe heed their advice a little before things could potentially get worse.
