    Infection from Spay?
Just got a new 8 week old puppy from a rescue service- she was spayed a week and a half ago- she came with kennel cough, so has been on antibiotics but still coughing a decent amount.

I am just getting little worried about her stitches on her belly- they seem to be protruding through much more at one spot. Is this normal or possibly a sign of infection?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Better let the vet have a look. Likely you were told to keep her clean and dry. Yeah, an 8 week old? Even if you did your best, there still could be a problem.

Thank you for adopting. I hope everything will be OK. Have you checked the sticky, https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/dogs/i...man-53153.html I am sure you will find the material helpful.

Question about early spay & Neuter [ 1 Answers ]

I have 3 kittens who are just about 3 months old. A local organization is holding a "spay day" next weekend and they are able to spay and micro chip my kittens. They have told me that early spaying is very safe and can sometimes even be better than waiting. I have read similar reports online. I'm...
