I have trane XE80 and when I power up the unit the glow stick works but
The furnace ignites sometime and sometimes it doesn't. I tested the voltage on the gas vaulve and when it does light it is 240 and when it does not light it reads Zero volts. Can anyone help >Number Removed< Vince cell phone

Will start shut off, start and shut off the glow bar glows when its about to come on... then dims when it starts to shut off. The furnace does not ingnite... could this be the limit switch?
Our Trane Xe80 gas furnace had 3 flashing lights sucked on pressure switch unit come on. Now have 9 flashing lights indicating ignitor problem. Should both be replaced? I noticed several people paid to have them replaced and unit still did not work. Any suggestions? Thank You

Hi *, After a power surge in FL AC (Trane xe80 heat with gas/cool elec.) wouldn't start. I changed a couple of circuit breakers that tripped, one outside to the AC unit outside, one inside to the furnace. Power company came over and checked power in the outside unit.
