About to go to the drugstore... which medicine should I get?
I thought I would ask your opinion before I go standing in the aisles reading every single thing they have. My sixteen year old son's symptoms started yesterday. He has a headache, a little sore throat, a very stuffy nose (can't smell or taste very well), and he is coughing a dry cough. He has mild asthma, and hasn't had to use inhaler in probably a year or so. So I've been giving him breathing treatment. I really think it might be allergy related, but he def could have gotten it from someone at school. Seems like everyone around town is itchy and scratchy and feeling cruddy.
Spring is in the air here down south. He has no fever. And he hardly ever gets sick. He's very active. Mucinex D? And take tylenol? Allegra D? Theraflu? I basically need an antihistamine, coughing, and decongestant all in one! What has worked for you?
