    How to you introduce yourself to a unhappy customer?
    My department has recently gone throug an organizational change. My new boss has task all of his manager to go out in the field, introduce themselves and meet our customers. I'm task to meet all senior management customer and keep and log and submit it to my new boss by the end of the month. How do you introduce yourself to an internal customer after you have worked for the company for two years?

    You introduce yourself and ask him his name and then tell him you are there to listen to him. Then do that -- actively listen. Have a notebook handy into which you will write down his comments. At the end of your meeting, briefly review with him what you wrote down.
