    Dwwin.exe
    Every time I shut down my computer, it tells me that "dwwin.exe" could not started. Does anyone know why it is doing this and how can I fix that?

    Dwwin.exe is a part of the Microsoft Doctor Watson error reporting tool which comes packaged with some Microsoft products. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer. So something is causing it not to load. Do a search to see if it was accidentally deleted. If its not found you may have to run a repair or a Restore of your system.

    Dr. Watson is a very old programmer’s utility used back when Windows began. It does not need to be on for any regular computer user.



    This is an easier way to disable it.



    -From the Start menu click on Run, type in: drwtsn32.exe

    -Clear all check marks from Options boxes.

    This will disable Dr. Watson from running.



    Reboot… and ENJOY!
