Good afternoon! I am a 49 year old female in perimenopause. I get hot flashes mostly at night and they usually stop when I start my monthly cycle. However, this last cycle just isn't stopping. I flowed heavy for 3 days, day 4 was clotting and I've been spotting for the last 16 days. It stopped for a couple days, but when my husband and I had sex on Saturday, I stopped spotting again... and the hot flashes are keeping me up at night. Also my left ovary is tender. No swelling or bloating, just tender as if I was ovulating. Should I be concerned and wait it out to see if I start my cycle on Saturday, or should I see a physician? I've never felt this way before, so it's kind of scary. I am looking forward to the day when the bleeding stops :)

I started bleeding after being with my husband , I have always been regular I didn't have a period in Dec nor Jan , now come feb I've been bleeding , spotting and clotting.. some days are just spotting , some days are like a regular flow and clotting in the morings when I get up. Does anyone have the same symptoms, I am 34 years old and had a tubal 12 years ago when I was 23. Please let me know if anyone has any answers for me.
